I've been deeply involved in the building and engineering industries throughout my career. From constructing outdoor structures and mansions to multi-housing developments in Perth and regional areas, I've done it all.
At the age of 18, I kicked off my building journey as a trainee draftsman/designer. Over time, I worked to become an estimator, scheduler, and eventually a building supervisor. In collaboration with my engineer brother, I ventured into property development when I was 21 and 24 years old. In pursuit of my passion, I became a registered carpenter, obtained my builder's diploma, and gained registration at the age of 29. I have gained over 20 years of experience working in various carpentry jobs.
I focused on building and property development for most of my career. However, with the rise of platforms like Airbnb, I discovered the profitability of short-term leasing, leading me to manage and rent out hotel apartments in Cairns. After running this business successfully for about five years, I sold it in early 2020.
Recently, I've re-entered the building industry and taken on various roles. During this time, I realised that there are significant areas for improvement in planning, execution, and completion.
And now, here I am. With my wealth of experience and expertise, I am determined to help you build it right and cost-effectively!
